Two apps, one six-step signup, no ad spend

The rider app took 2,300+ organic downloads and 1,100+ booking attempts. The driver app took about 450.

Drivers were the thin side, so I instrumented every step of the six-step driver signup and worked the steps where they dropped. Riders were converting at 85% against 14% on the driver side, 42 out of more than 300. I manage a team of five on acquisition and marketing.

Loopdesk AI · Go-to-Market Intern · May to Aug 2026

The segment was wrong, not the volume

200+ customer interviews in 12 weeks, and what came out of them decided which customer segment the company built for.

Outbound ran at 500+ prospects a day and I dropped the segments that were not converting. Monthly actives went from under 10 to 200 in three months on the refocused profile.

reform · Sales and Growth Intern · Jul to Aug 2026

Repeat orders were the business

Week one, I sold nothing. Repeat orders turned out to decide everything, so I held reorder rate above 50%, and every client I brought in reordered.

In my four weeks there, the pipeline I ran took revenue from about ₹10 lakh to ₹15 lakh (about $10,500 to $15,700) a year, alongside the founder's own work.

When my own fix didn't work.

The reform founder told me the CRM wasn't being updated enough. He was right, so I fixed it. Records improved. Sales didn't move.

Nearly every order traced back to a face-to-face conversation, not to anything in the pipeline. I said so, he agreed, and I rebuilt my weeks around visits with the CRM as the record, not the strategy.

I'd rather find out I solved the wrong problem in week two than defend it for a month.

What they said, unedited.
